Maast Indian began in 2020 as a small virtual kitchen in Irvine during the pandemic, serving customized family meals to the local community. What started as a humble takeout operation has since grown into a vibrant restaurant known for reimagining Indian cuisine through a California lens.

Built with the intention to break the mold, Maast Indian blends traditional Indian flavors with modern creativity. Our menu features comforting curry bowls served with rice and flaky paratha, alongside bold Indian-inspired burritos, munchwraps, parathadillas, sandwiches, chaats, and other fusion favorites that celebrate the best of Indian street food and California culture.

Crafted in our Creative Kitchen by Head Chef and Owner Karna Patel—the son of co-founder Rita Patel—and supported by a close-knit family team, every dish carries a balance of tradition and innovation. What began as Rita's vision has evolved into a true family endeavor, with Karna bringing a fresh, creative perspective while honoring the flavors and recipes that inspired the journey. From rich Saag Curry Bowls and creamy Dal Makhani to our signature Cauliflower 65 Burrito, Parathadilla, and Chole Samosa Chaat, every item is designed to be familiar, exciting, and uniquely Maast.

In 2026, we proudly opened our Fullerton flagship location—a project years in the making and a true labor of love. More than just a restaurant, our Fullerton home showcases the full Maast experience, featuring beer and wine service, expanded indoor dining, and our Naan Home Store, where guests can take home curated products, gifts, and flavors inspired by our journey. Designed as a gathering place for friends, families, and the community, the flagship represents the next chapter of our story.
